Melissa Vigue and Nancy Cartonio, the dynamic duo behind Bei Capelli Salon, are approaching the ten-year anniversary of their business. Located in Maine, Bei Capelli is about two things: comfort and authentic beauty. "We couldn't imagine having spent the past ten years doing anything else!" Melissa confirms. And looking at the salon, you believe it. The decor is gorgeous, the services are extravagant - ranging from hair, to nails, to make-up and waxing - and the atmosphere feels like you're hanging out with your best friends. Melissa and Nancy have an age-old philosophy: everyone is beautiful, so find your best featrues and enhance them. "We're not about masking anything," says Melissa. "If you're bringing out your best image from head to toe, then you'll look gorgeous!" The ladies live and breathe style, but don't limit that to hair and make-up. Inspired by all things fashion, the plan to take on clothing in the future. "We're talking about boosting the fashion industry here in Portland. We really want to have our own show and feature high fashion." So, what to expect from Bei Capelli and its founders in another ten years? The sky seems to be the limit, as Nancy reminds us. "Melissa and I just can't seem to stop climbing!"
